Since the launch of Ayushman Bharat Scheme, more than 2 lakh 30 thousand people have got treatment in hospitals. 68% of these people have got treatment in private hospitals. In the name of ModiCare, there is a goal of bringing 500 million people within the purview of PMJAY.

The enthusiastic figures have come out about the Modi government's well-known Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme. As per this scheme, about 68% of about 2.3 lakh beneficiaries have got treatment in private hospitals. Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Swasthya Yojana, this health insurance scheme, which is running the government's money, was launched on September 23. According to the data of National Health Agency (NHA), so far 2 lakh 32 thousand 592 people have got treatment in the hospital.

According to the statistics, most of the mouth and face related surgeries, general surgery, eye diseases and people with gynecological problems have undergone treatment under this. There is also a large part of surgery related to head injuries. This shows that more claims of accident cases have come up under the insurance scheme. These figures are also important because in the beginning, private hospitals had expressed concern about the low price package fixed by the NHA.

According to the statistics, 55482 hospitals have sent an application to the NHA for joining the panel under the scheme. Of these, 15,000 hospitals have either been included in the panel or have their permission in the pipeline. Nearly 8000 of these hospitals belong to the private sector. Dinesh Arora, deputy chief executive of Ayushman India, says that the problem of costing is especially in Delhi and other metro cities where the cost of service and human resources is relatively high.

He said that the response from Tier 2 and 3 cities of states like Haryana, UP, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh is fantastic. Explain that under the Youth of India, the government wants to reach healthcare facilities to more and more people by limiting spending on health. Although people have to spend 60 per cent of their pocket for healthcare facilities in the country, despite this many people are deprived of third-level medical care because of expensiveness.

Dinesh Arora says that our goal is to provide a third level medical care of 6000 to 7000 patients daily. Under the Modi Prime Minister's Public Health Scheme, the target is to bring 50 million people of about 10.77 million children in the cashless health care up to 5 lakhs annually.
